Meet Tambra Williams, Senior Manager, Accounting at Centric Brands. Her approach goes beyond numbers—by fostering strong relationships and meaningful connections, Tambra drives results while creating a supportive and empowering environment for her team.

Managing the Numbers
Tambra has built a reputation at Centric Brands as a reliable leader and collaborative partner in the world of royalty accounting. Managing approximately 200 license agreements across all Centric Brands divisions, she oversees the flow of royalty accounting and reporting that helps keep the licensing operations running smoothly.

Her responsibilities span the full spectrum of royalty management, from maintaining general ledger accounts to coordinating payments, while serving as a vital bridge between divisions to ensure seamless processes across the organization.

Navigating Transformation
One of the biggest challenges of Tambra’s career came during the transition from the legacy DRM platform to the new Alliant system. The most interesting project I have worked on in my current position was transitioning from the old DRM Royalty Accounting system to the new Alliant Royalty Accounting system. The project required the loading of master data, training, testing and programming each agreement into the new system, all while ensuring day-to-day processes continued uninterrupted. For Tambra, it was an opportunity to take responsibility for a complex situation and see it through to completion.

Staying Steady Under Pressure
Over the years, Tambra has worked through tight deadlines and critical reporting periods, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures. These experiences have strengthened what she views as her most important skill: staying calm under pressure. By keeping a level head, she helps her team focus on solutions and move through demanding periods with clarity.

Beyond the Balance Sheet
When colleagues think of Tambra, they likely envision someone deeply immersed in financial data and licensing agreements.
